TERMS OF THE TERRIBLE IDEA
Effective:
1. Who runs this
In these Terms, “we”, “us” and “the operator of thewrongai.com” mean the operator identified above. “You” means the person or business purchasing or using a placement.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority where you live) and legally capable of entering into a contract. If you buy for a company or other organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind it.
3. What you are buying
You purchase a defined advertising/placement service on the Millionaire Wall. A placement includes the exact wall pixels allocated to your order, a public Maker profile and approved destination link(s), subject to moderation.
- Micro Maker Spot — under 100 pixels: your purchased pixels remain physically small. The wall may show a small Maker marker so visitors can find your clickable profile. Your logo may appear in the Maker profile, but we do not promise readable logo/text visibility directly on the overview wall.
- Visible Logo Tile — 100 pixels or more: after moderation, an approved logo may be rendered inside your purchased rectangle. Legibility still depends on your chosen dimensions, screen size, zoom level and artwork.
Every pixel costs €1. During the Founding 100 promotion, the first 100 paid placements may check out from €5. After the promotion, the standard minimum checkout is €10. The server-side amount shown by Stripe controls the transaction.
4. Complimentary creator spots and the Creator Cup
We may invite selected creators, influencers, partners or press contacts to claim complimentary promotional wall space. Complimentary placements are not purchases, do not count toward public money-raised totals and may have a fixed promotional duration. A private one-time invite may be required to claim the spot.
Invited creators may receive a unique referral link. The Creator Cup may rank approved creator campaigns using tracked visitors, paid Makers and revenue attributed to paid orders. These figures are approximate promotional analytics, may be filtered for abuse and do not create a right to cash prizes, commissions or compensation unless a separate written agreement expressly says otherwise.
5. No investment, prize or guaranteed audience
You receive no equity, ownership in the project, profit share, token, prize entry, financial return or guaranteed marketing result. We do not guarantee impressions, clicks, conversions, followers, search ranking, virality, press coverage or TikTok exposure. Public progress totals are gross wall sales, not the operator of thewrongai.com’s net worth or profit.
6. Selecting pixels and checkout reservations
Your selected rectangle is temporarily reserved before Stripe Checkout so somebody else cannot buy the same space while you pay. Reservations expire automatically if checkout is not completed. Anti-abuse limits may restrict repeated or unusually large unpaid reservations from the same connection.
7. Payment, tax and confirmation
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not intentionally receive or store your full card number. Applicable taxes may be calculated or collected based on the configuration of Stripe Tax, customer location and applicable law. Your contract is formed when payment is successfully confirmed for the order.
8. Immediate processing and consumer withdrawal rights
If you ask us to begin the service immediately, we may start moderation, processing and publication work before any statutory withdrawal period has expired. If you are a consumer who has a mandatory right to withdraw from an online service contract, that right is not removed merely because you tick a checkbox. The applicable rules and how to exercise them are set out in our Refund & Withdrawal Policy.
Where applicable law allows it, a consumer who expressly requested service to begin during the withdrawal period and later withdraws may be required to pay a proportionate amount for service actually supplied before withdrawal. Mandatory consumer rights always prevail over these Terms.
9. Moderation and prohibited content
Payment reserves the space, but publication is subject to moderation. We may approve, reject, remove or request changes where necessary for law, safety, platform integrity or these Terms. At launch, the following are prohibited:
- illegal content, threats, hate, harassment or explicit sexual content;
- malware, phishing, credential theft, deceptive redirects or impersonation;
- content that infringes copyright, trade marks, privacy, publicity or other third-party rights;
- counterfeit goods, controlled drugs, weapons, nicotine products or other unlawful/regulated goods;
- gambling promotions, adult sexual services, or misleading financial/investment/crypto claims unless expressly approved in writing and demonstrably lawful;
- content designed to mislead users about affiliation with another person, company or public authority.
If your creative is rejected, we will normally give you a reasonable opportunity to submit compliant replacement content. Refund handling is described in the Refund Policy.
10. Your content and intellectual property
You keep ownership of content you submit. You grant the operator of thewrongai.com a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, cache, resize, sanitise, reproduce, display and technically adapt that content as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, moderate and promote the Wall and the experiment. You confirm that you have all rights and permissions needed for the submitted content and links.
11. Links and third-party sites
Your placement may link to a permitted HTTPS destination, including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube or a website. Outbound links may be marked as sponsored/nofollow. We do not control third-party sites and approval of a link does not mean endorsement.
12. Editing and private edit links
After payment, you may receive a private edit link. Keep it secret: anyone who obtains it may be able to request changes to your placement. Changes return to moderation. We may revoke or rotate edit access if we reasonably suspect compromise or abuse.
13. How long a placement lasts
“Permanent” means for the operating life of the Millionaire Wall project, not literally forever. We intend to keep compliant paid placements visible while the project is operating. We may suspend, migrate, redesign or eventually discontinue the service for technical, legal, security or commercial reasons. If a material discontinuation triggers a refund or other remedy under mandatory law, those rights remain unaffected.
14. Refunds, withdrawals and chargebacks
Our Refund & Withdrawal Policy forms part of these Terms. A confirmed full refund releases the wall space for resale. A partial refund does not automatically reduce or release the placement unless we agree otherwise. Fraudulent chargebacks, payment abuse or unpaid reversals may result in suspension or removal.
15. Takedowns and complaints
If you believe a placement infringes your rights or is unlawful, contact with the placement, the problem and evidence supporting your request. We may temporarily hide content while investigating.
16. Availability, security and changes
The site depends on third-party infrastructure and may experience outages, attacks, maintenance or provider failures. We may make reasonable technical changes to the Wall. The version of the Terms accepted at checkout governs that purchase; later Terms do not retroactively remove accrued rights.
17. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where the law does not allow it, including mandatory consumer rights. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost marketing opportunities, third-party platform changes or the performance of external links. For business purchasers only, and to the extent legally permitted, our aggregate contractual liability for a placement will not exceed the amount actually paid for that placement.
18. Business purchaser responsibility
If you purchase in the course of business, you are responsible for the legality of your advertising content, claims, promotions and destination pages. To the extent permitted by law, business purchasers are responsible for third-party claims caused by content or links they supplied in breach of these Terms.
19. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, without removing any mandatory consumer protection that applies to you in your country of residence. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a dispute directly. Consumers may also have access to an applicable consumer Alternative Dispute Resolution body. The former EU Online Dispute Resolution platform was discontinued in 2025 and is not used by this site.
20. Contact
These Terms are drafted for the current product architecture and EU-facing launch model. They do not replace advice from a Cyprus lawyer/accountant on your final operator identity, VAT treatment or any country-specific requirements created by where you actively market the service.
